With the intention of expanding my illustration style, I created a birthday card for two Corgis I walk regularly. The goal was to capture their personality without getting into too much detail, and keeping the overall style cute and simple. My traditional artwork is very detailed and photo-realistic, so I aim in my digital artwork to stay simple and create things that are easily legible but that still “pop!”.

This looked even better printed than it does on my screen, and I am really pleased with how it came out.
