The first set of photos since Copper’s companion, Cinder, passed away. This shot also came from the first set of photos I took after purchasing a new camera.
The original photo, being taken in the shadows with just a beam of sunlight on his side and face, was a little underwhelming and cool-toned. I have been inspired by a lot of warm, sunset editing I’ve seen floating around social media (mostly before and after photos of lightroom presets) so I decided to try my hand at a little heavier editing than I am used to. I attempted to start this in Lightroom, but I am unfamiliar with the program and I wasn’t getting the results I wanted, so I took it into PhotoShop. I added some saturation, and a vignette overlay of sorts. Overall, I am very happy with the final product! It is a huge improvement over the original, but still looks as if it wasn’t touched.
