My sister wanted me to make her a logo for fun, her only request was to involve a dog, cat, and bird somehow. I got the idea to combine all their foot/paw prints into one image, and have each stand out by making them a varying shade of gray.

I tried color for each paw, in different shades, saturation, and balance, but it wasn’t as successful in my opinion as the gray. I added a vine pattern overlay once I was done; I felt like it needed that extra something before it was finished. In the end, my sister had more of the actual animals in mind than just their prints, so she didn’t like this version of her logo and didn’t choose it. I personally love it, and that’s why I’ve chosen to add it to my blog.
