This photo came out a little underexposed, but I love how expressive Copper’s face looks. In this shot, he had just stolen the stick back from our other dog, Cinder, and was looking around anxiously to see if she was going to try and take it back from him. His cautious, almost paranoid, face is easily readable whether you know about dog body language or not. I think his mix of breeds (foxhound and whippet, we believe) make these kind of easily readable expressions pretty unique to him.
